I am a faculty mentor for the McNair Scholars Program and Graduate Community Mentoring.
- McNair Scholars Program
McNair Scholars are STEM students who are first-generation college attendees, come from low-income backgrounds, and/or belong to ethnic groups traditionally underrepresented in graduate school. The program provides year-round, academic, and holistic support to help students initiate undergraduate research projects early in their undergraduate careers.
Scholars who complete the program have been admitted to and earned degrees from many well-respected universities throughout the world, including Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Columbia, UC-Berkeley, UW-Madison, Northwestern, Cambridge, and UNM.
I am fully committed to ensuring students' retention and graduation from UNM, and to equipping them with the tools to be competitively considered for graduate school admission. If you are interested in this program or need any support, I am here to help
